Lindsay became a pioneer in center pivot technology, developing a system which enables irrigation equipment to move easily up and down steep grades. Area farmers bought our products, dubbed them "hill climbers" and we've been expanding our markets and customer base ever since. Our Zimmatic® center pivot and lateral move irrigation systems are now used worldwide to enable farmers to increase crop yields while using less labor, chemicals, water and energy. In December 2007, FieldNET, a web-based irrigation management system featuring full control, won the Irrigation Association's Best New Agricultural Product Award. Lindsay enhanced its position in the irrigation industry through the acquisition of Watertronics, a leader in  designing, manufacturing, and servicing  water pumping stations and controls for the golf, landscape and municipal markets, in January of 2008. 

 

In recent years, the company has strengthened it's road and infrastructure equipment capabilities through acquisitions and customer relationships. These products assure greater safety for motorists and highway construction workers.
