How long have you been an employee at Elecsys?

1 year

If you could pick one of your job activities or a recent project to describe as special, what would it be and why? 

I have had the unique opportunity to help build the new smart pivot irrigation system at Lindsay. This project has helped me drastically upgrade my skills in firmware & hardware engineering. Not a lot of engineers get the opportunity to rebuild a system from the ground-up, so this opportunity is very special to me.

What is something on your bucket list that you have not checked off yet? 

I'd love to witness an aurora (northern lights/polar lights) someday.

What is one fun fact about yourself? 

I like building robots!

What is your idea of a great day? 

For me, a great day is one where I've made a fair effort with my brain and my body. To top it off, some happy time with my family and lots of tasty food definitely seals the deal.

If you were an animal, what would you be? Why? 

I would be a dog to some rich family with no worries. What a life.

If you could invite three people, dead or alive, to a dinner party, who would you invite? 

Alan Turing, Linus Torvalds, and Andrew Ng

Would you rather be able to speak any language or be able to communicate with animals? 

Speak any language.

What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery? 

Does paying off my own mortgage count?

If you could time travel, where would you like to travel to? 

The future! I want to see what humans are going to do in the next 500 years.

When it comes to snacks, do you prefer salty or sweet? List your favorite treat.

Salty - usually roasted/salted cashews is a good snack, but any sort of mixed nuts will do.

If you could choose to have one superpower, what would it be and why? 

Teleportation, probably. I could be anywhere, anytime! Wow.
