Meet Shane Uminn!

Shane has been part of the Elecsys team for 4 years in a combination of roles. He has served both on the support team as a support technician and also on the commercial team where he currently works as an Account Manager for our Oil & Gas customers.

How long have you been an employee at Elecsys? 

4 Years

If you could pick one of your job activities or a recent project to describe as special, what would it be and why? 

Installing Light Guard units. Each lighting pedestal was different and had its own challenges and required a lot of thought to set up the circuits correctly.

What is something on your bucket list that you have not checked off yet? 

Skydiving.

What is one fun fact about yourself? 

I've played Rugby and Magic the Gathering in the same day.

What is your idea of a great day? 

A day off with my family, out at the lake swimming with the dogs.

If you were an animal, what would you be? Why? 

Tiger. If you have to ask why, you'll never know.

If you could invite three people, dead or alive, to a dinner party, who would you invite? 

My Dad, my Grandma, and my first Dog Torri so my son could meet them.

Would you rather be able to speak any language or be able to communicate with animals? 

Animals for sure.

What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery? 

A new house.

If you could time travel, where would you like to travel to? 

Medieval times.

When it comes to snacks, do you prefer salty or sweet? List your favorite treat.
